Origin and Development at JSKS :
JSKS was established in 2009 with the cooperation of some professional and well experienced social workers. With a view to ensure basic rights of the poor and marginalized community, it initiated a holistic development approach in building a hunger free, gender balanced and just society. JSKS is committed to enrich the status of lives of the poor and marginalized people- ethnic minority, destitute women, children and disabled, land less and marginal farmers, unemployed youth etc.

JSKS is working in the Dhaka district, for the “EMPOWERMENT” of the poor and distressed community in the most depressed region, which is dominated by acute “POVERTY.” On this very premise, JSKS deserves to continue with the ongoing process by further strengthening their focus on “Empowerment of the Marginalized,” specially “Women.” JSKS is a small local organization, which aims to make development of the poor who have more challenges to face and manage their daily life.
JSKS initiated their activities in the Dhaka District in 2009, with a passion for minimizing the sufferings of the poorest of the poor, particularly women, children and disabled people of the poor community. The level of poverty and suffering in the working area exists on an extreme scale. This area is neglected in a designed way, particularly for very strategic reasons by the national level Policy Makers.
